A Step Above offers multiple companies from beginner to advanced. Dancers are accepted by audition only and are expected to be proficient in all dance forms. Auditions are held each summer. A Step Above was awarded the "TOP STUDIO" in 2018 by Encore DCS. The ASADA Companies performed for the world at Disney World in June 2022 and attended private classes by Disney Choreographers! The ASADA Companies hold multiple  regional and National titles from solos to groups. The ADCC chose A Step Above as a 2023 Studio of Excellence. For regionals in 2024, ASADA was chosen by Fusion as the highest scoring competitive studio. At 2024 Encore DCS Grand Finals, we were chosen as one of the top three jazz performance and the TOP tap performance of the entire Finals of which there were 822 dances. In June 2025, A Step Above was chosen as the 2025 Fusion National Show Star for Duel of the Fates. This is the Highest Award for Fusion.
